Our little guy had a great Christmas - and he enjoyed it with friends, family, and good food!) I think his baby food jar on Christmas Eve was "Turkey/Apple/Cranbery" Lol. We did "Sage Christmas" over the weekend, and then headed to the lake for a few days for "Lewis Christmas."
He had a blast with his cousins, loved all of the Christmas music (Especially Toby Keith's "Little Drummer Boy"), and is having fun with his new toys. And, although I wouldn't necessarily call it "crawling" yet, he is figuring it out and can get from point A to B if he wants to!
I dont think I ever updated on his official height/weight frim his 6-month appointment: 19.8 lbs and 26 1/4 inches. (He actually lost a pound these last couple of weeks... Been working out pretty hard with all of this "crawling"!) This puts him in the 68% for height and 85th for weight. That's my boy! :-)
While Christmas in Georgia was great, I really missed Christmas in California and my family there... I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and that Harrison gets to see y'all very very soon.
Here are a few pics!

6 months already?!
Time sure flies when you are having fun, huh?! Our little (big) guy is 6 months today and we are off to a very late start to our day since he slept in until 9:45! Whoa! Could've gotten a lot done around here if I hadn't slept in too! (Must work on that!) Lol
Off to the doctor for his checkup this afternoon (hate these shots!)... But can't wait for the official weigh in and height check!
Tonight we will take his 6 month pic and celebrate by trying a new food... So far, Harrison loves squash, carrots, peas, prunes, apples, bananas, and pears... he is NOT into peaches (snif snif!) (did he get ANYTHING from me?)
He is so sweet and so funny- loves to be silly and loves to laugh... Guess he got something from me... ;-)
Crawling is just around the corner... Somehow he manages to get over to the Christmas tree every time he is on the floor?!

His first invite!
Harrison received an invitation to his best friend Lucas' and his twin sister Jocelyn's 1st birthday party today! He wants to go soooooooooooooo bad... The party is in California at the end of this month, which would also require taking his first plane ride...

Busy busy!
I'm exhausted just thinking about this week's festivities! (Good thing I've gotten to sleep through the night for the past week and a half!) (knock on wood!) We had Heron Bay's kid's Christmas party this past Saturday (which I also volunteered at... My how my life has changed in a year!) ;-) Harrison got to sit on Santa's lap (for the second time actually- but you can see the first time when you get your Christmas cards in the mail this week... ;-) He seemed more interested in the ceiling fans than Santa- but he did try to eat Santa's sleeve at one point so I guess there was some interest there. Lol
Today we have to make a dessert for tonight's White Elephant ornament exchange at church. (And go buy an ornament!) we also have to make a brunch item for our MOPS Christmas party Tuesday morning (and get a white elephant pres for that!). Then there's Bunco Christmas Tues night (note to self: need white elephant gift for that!)... Then there's shopping/breakfast with Gran (Scott's mom) Wednesday morning, and off to the lake for the rest of the day/night to see Mimi/Papa. Hopefully I can catch my breath there for a bit (and go get my nails/toes done?!) Friday, I'm hosting a fun get together at our house- a little girl time, glitz, and glamour... With jewelry by Stella and Dot, skincare by Rodan + Fields, and designer jeans by Vault Denim! Should be a blast! Finally, Saturday night = a Christmas party with my old teacher friends. Whew! I'm exhausted already!
Harrison's asleep in his swing for his morning nap now- guess I better stop blogging and get something done! ;-)

Zoo Atlanta!
We went to the zoo on Monday! It was such a great day- perfect weather/no crowd. I think Harrison's favorite was the otters! They were so cute and active- swimming and rolling around. And yes, you will prob notice he had an outfit change! BLOWOUT about 5 mins after we got there! Haven't had one in such a long time! Unfortunately, (lol) there was no changing table in the ladies restroom, just in the men's... So Scott had to deal with the mess/change! ;-)

Yes!!
I didn't want to blog about it after the first night... For fear of jinxing it... Or the second night... Same reason... BUT I think I can blog about it after night 3... Of Harrison sleeping through the night!! Yes!!
The last three nights we have put Harrison to bed at 9pm- very full/very tired, but not already asleep (like we had been). It takes a bit to get him to buy into the fact that its officially bedtime and the day is over, but in a few minutes, he is able to drift off to dreamland with his pacifier. He has woken up atound 4am each night, but only needs me to help him with his pacifier real quick and he is asleep again. Then he wakes up happy and ready to take on the day at 7:30/8am. Awesome!
Can't wait to see how he does for his Mimi tonight! (She is babysitting OVERNIGHT so me and Scott can go celebrate our anniversary in Atlanta (Stone Mountain Marriot and Park))! Fingers crossed for ya Mimi! ;-) xoxo

Today's agenda...
Wake, play with my rat, eat some pears, sing a few songs (still love "take me out to the ballgame", but mommy also sings a few other hillarious songs: "hot crossed buns" and "woop there it is!" are at the top the list currently). Then, nap in my swing (while holding my rat of course. After that, probably some more eating, playing, napping, and maybe even a jump or two in the Johnny Jump Up thing. Have I mentioned how much I love my rat?!

Sage's 2nd Anniversary!
It's our 2nd anniversary today and I must brag on my hubby for a minute... He always makes birthdays and anniversaries extra special and I am lucky to have such a sweet husband. See below to see what he did for me before heading off to work this morning...
Happy Anniversary Scott! Love you very much! Xoxo

5 months!
Harrison turned 5 months today! We celebrated by doing a messy craft project (I'll show the completed project tomorrow!), and putting on his new pjs (size 9 months!) after his bath. I just love his silly personality and am so thankful for the giggles and smiles we share every day. He loves when I sing to him and so we have been having fun with some Disney songs ("The Bear Necessities" and Peter Pan's "You can Fly" especially!) I think he is going to have a lot to say when he finally talks based on all of his baby babble lately!
I don't think it will be long before he will be crawling... The last few days he has figured out how to get up on his knees and rock back and forth! For now, he ends up scooting backwards which is pretty cute.
His 5 month "photo shoot" with me was more challenging than previous months... He wants to play with his feet and/or put his hands in his mouth a lot lately as you can tell from my pics below!
Ps- he weighed in at 19 lbs 12 oz! My "little guy" has gained exactly 13 lbs since birth!

21 weeks
He is hillarious lately! Loves his pacifier (the "plug" as I call it!), loves to roll AND scoot around (yikes!), loves his mobile, and his toys, when I sing to him, and to wiggle around and make it dificult for Mommy to dress him! Lol! He is also SO interested in everything I eat/drink, and what Molly is doing, and and even to the tv when I put it on the BABY channel for a bit in the morning.
Our church, Mommentum CC, held a baby dedication service that we participated in last weekend. I think their were about 28 babies dedicated to the Lord that day! It was a great service and Harrison was so proud that his family filled up an entire row at church that morning ;-)
Heading out to our MOPS meeting now! :-) (So blessed to be a stay at home mom, I'm more exhausted then ever, but I absolutely love it and wouldn't trade it for anything)
