Sleepy!

We had a busy day yesterday. Church, (where Harrison snuck in a quick nap!), my tennis match, a visit from Mimi and Papa, and then Life Group at night. Harrison snuck in another little nap at my match, and a little one at Life Group, but they were short naps and he is SLEEPY this morning! After "breakfast" at 7am, he went down ffor a nap until 10:15. (And so did I!). We played with his toys, did a little tummy time, and had "lunch" at 11. He is now off to dream land again.

On a separate note- we have to buy diapers today... Im going to abandon the beloved Pampers due to one too many "blowouts" lately. Thinking about trying Huggies? Or maybe the Target brand? Obviously need to try sonething different though... Just ask Scott about yesterday! ;-)

Harrison really enjoyed church today...

3 months

To celebrate his 3rd month birthday Harrison took a few naps, and then got dressed in his new jeans and went to Petsmart with me where he got to see the kittens, birds, and fish! He loved watching the animals! Everyone thought he was so cute and couldn't believe my alert 16 pound baby boy was only 3 months today! Lol

Thinking about breaking out the "Johnny Jump Up" tonight since the box says "3+ months"... :-)

He is smiling and laughing at us every day, and is still quite into the fact that he has fists! ;-) He also started clasping his hands together and so I told him that is how we pray and thank God every day for our family. Love love love my little guy.

Tennis fan

Harrison came out to cheer me on yesterday at my first tennis match back since he was born! I unfortunately lost, but played well and had fun. My back is killing me and Im headed back to the chiropractor today to hopefully resolve the issue quickly. Hard to have a sore back when you have a 16 pound (yes, 16 pounds!) bundle of joy to lift! ;-) Love my little chubster!

Mimi's birthday!

Harrison turned 12 weeks old this week and Mimi turned... Lol! You didn't think I would really say did you?! Anyhow, to celebrate, we (me and Harrison and my mom) took a little midweek trip to Dahlonega, GA. Harrison was a trooper, enduring hours of shopping at our favorite outlets (North Ga Premium Outlets), sleeping through dinner/live music at a cute cafe off the square (Crimson Moon Cafe), and staying the night in a hotel for his first time! I think our neighbors across the hall were a little nervous about a baby staying within earshot, but Harrison was an angel, only waking up once at 4am to eat and then went right back to sleep.

We had a great time, scored some great deals, and I can't believe my little guy is almost 3 months old... And in 6 month clothes already! Lol, he is so cute!

11 weeks!

Big man is 11 weeks today! He loves his activity mat... And his Georgia Bulldogs!

He discovered his hand last week and has been full of smiles, laughter, and chatter lately! He has been sleeping great (through the night many nights!) and weighs in at 15 lbs 4 oz now! Whoa! Had to pack up the 0-3 month clothes and break out the 3-6ers!

Unfortunately, Molly is not as interested in Harrison as we are... Lol.

Weilands visit from Cali!

Harrison's best friend Lucas and his 8 month old twin sister (future girlfriend?!) Jocelyn came to visit us at the end of August! (their parents Alysen and Rick came too, lol!) It was AWESOME to have them here and meet their beautiful babies! I still can't believe Alysen/Rick packed up their twins, got on a plane, and spent the week here with us at the lake. I am so lucky to have them as best friends... Love you both and miss you already! Looking forward to many more trips as our families grow!
